Description:
- Steps for configuring email notifications omit stating that the user attempting receive email alerts is required to be an administrator.
- The notification provided when attempting to assign Email Preference to user that is not an administrator does not provide the reason why email alerts can not be set and is nondescript.
Expected Behavior:
- The steps for configuring email notifications would list either in a note or as a step that the $USER must be set as an administrator.
- When attempting to set a non-administrative user with email alerts, the Notification field can be verbose and state that this user does not have the privilege required to receive email notifications|alerts.
Actual Behavior:
- Following current iteration of the documentation does not share why an admin user is unable to set a non-administrative user to receive email notifications.
