To Do
I am running RHEL 10 hypervisors. I have added them as libvirt compute resources under Satellite 6.17. When I try to spin up a VM I get the error:
Failed to create a compute [hostname] (Libvirt) instance [instance name]: Error saving the server: Call to virDomainDefineXML failed: unsupported configuration does not support video model 'cirrus'
Upon the advice of wpinheir@redhat.com, I was able to edit /usr/share/gems/gems/fog-libvirt-0.13.2/lib/fog/libvirt/models/compute/server.rb and change cirrus to virtio. When I made that change, I was able to spin up virtual machines from the Satellite server.
I would think that we could either make the change in /usr/share/gems/gems/fog-libvirt-0.13.2/lib/fog/libvirt/models/compute/server.rb, or maybe update the web UI to give us an option as to what video card we should assign to the VM.
