      Continued from RHIDP-11446

      Goal

      Per PM/Eng sync call on 01/12, we'd like to be more cautious about removing plugins we have decided will be reverted to a community support level.

      These 5 plugins will remain as wrappers and be removed incrementally in 1.10 and 1.11, after announcing the plan in 1.9.

      GA in 1.8: remove in 1.11

      • quay/plugins/quay
      • quay/plugins/quay-actions
      • roadie-backstage-plugins/plugins/backend/backstage-plugin-argo-cd-backend
      • tekton/plugins/tekton

      Work to be performed for 1.10:

      • remove wrapper
      • provide documentation about how to migrate to the community versions (ghcr.io instead of embedded wrapper)
