What were you trying to do that didn't work?

I configured a few keyboard layouts in anaconda GUI and assigned a shortcut to switch the layouts. The shortcut does work but Anaconda doesn't react to that and I have to click the keyboard widget in the right upper corner to switch the layouts. This works correctly on RHEL-9.6. Tested in a VM as well as on a bare metal.

What is the impact of this issue to you?

Keyboard switching layouts is not correctly reflected to localed so Anaconda don't know about it.

Steps to reproduce

1. Configure a few keyboard layouts (English (US), Czech, Italian) in anaconda GUI and assign a Ctrl+Shift shortcut to switch the layouts.

1. Return to the main hub and try to switch the layouts using the key shortcut (Ctrl+Shift)

Expected results

The keyboard layout switch is reflected to localed which is taken by Anaconda.

Actual results

The keyboard layout is switched but that is not reflected to Anaconda. I have to click the keyboard widget in the top bar to switch the layouts.
