      • Migration is failing if the module configuration file is available in the guest and dhcp-client package is not installed:

       

      $ cat etc/dracut.conf.d/50-network-legacy.conf
# Since rhel-8.3 dracut moved to use NetworkManager 
# On existing installations we want to preserve the old scripts add_dracutmodules+=" network-legacy "
      • The migration will fail while loading the module:

       

      2024-05-22T10:48:43.586175284Z dracut: dracut module 'network-legacy' will not be installed, because command 'dhclient' could not be found!
