New version 2.03.24 contains many small fixes, e.g. issues found by coverity, but also fixes real bugs and improves VDO+thin-pool, external origin usage, devices files and other.
See release-notes
The areas to focus testing:
- There were some changes to udev rules which should improve RO and suspended device handling.
- When using LVs as PVs these are no longer autoactivated even when using scan_lvs - must enable `LVM_PVSCAN_ON_LVS` in udev rules (69-dm-lvm.rules).
- VDO + Thin - --vdopooldata option for lvcreate and lvconvert
- external origin - more LV types are now allowed as external origin
- devices file - backups and rename of system.devices when disabled
