The ld.so CPU diagnostics are currently broken because we build part of ld.so with x86-64-v2 (current GCC default) instead of x86-64-v3. This results in a SIGILL crash instead of a clear error message.
This situation will persist while we use the incorrect build flags, partially to work around lack of valgrind support (RHEL-32735).
