MTV is trying to use the libvirt HyperV driver for the HyperV migration,. However we require some additional information which is right now missing in the driver. One of this is the Hyper-V Integration Services status.
The migration automation relies on "Data Exchange" (KVP) to fetch IP addresses. We need to see which services are running (Msvm_KvpExchangeComponent) so we can warn users if the "Data Exchange" service is disabled before they start.
Goal
- Add Hyper-V Integration Services status to HyperV driver
Acceptance criteria
- We should be able to query Hyper-V Integration Services status of the vm
