= Plugins using the alpha language API render correctly Before this update, an incorrect webpack configuration in the {product} frontend caused plugins using the alpha language API from the {backstage} `core-plugin-api` package to fail. As a consequence, plugins such as the RBAC UI wrapper failed to load and displayed a `TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'id')` error. With this update, this was fixed by rebuilding the {product-very-short} frontend with an updated configuration and required releasing an updated `janus-idp/cli` (3.7.0) to support building the {product-very-short} frontend with this new configuration. These plugins, therefore, render correctly without requiring you to rebuild them.
