Currently, Quay makes use of a package called `trollius` which is essentially an attempt at a backport of asyncio functionality to Python 2.x.

As we are moving to Python 3, the use of this library is no longer required. When attempting to `pip install` the library, it fails on Python 3.6. Additionally, the project's homepage declares that it is deprecated and will no longer be maintained.
