This Feature (past called "podiifed ctlplne") is repurposed to be the feature driving the redhat openstack platform nextgen greenfield deploymnet effort.
Meaning the collab between Podifiedctlpne and EDPM team do develop,automate, integrate, test and document the procedure to deploy,on top of an existing openshift cluster, the openstack control plane services, and the automation engine (AnsibleEE) which will drive the external dataplane (compute nodes).

Key Targets for GA (MVP)
- successful deployment orchestrated by the openstack meta operator of the Openstack ctlplne services: Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Manila, keystone, horizon ironic, designate, barbican and supporting services rabbit and galera
- succeful integration with Temeletry operator (STF)
- Step By Setp documentation on how to create and deploy the RHOSO (OSP) 18 :
- Operators (ctlplane adn dataplane) and suppoting operators ( KubeNMState, MetalLB, CertManager)
- OCP Network attachments including examples for multiple NICS, Bonds and Vlans
- all relevant secrets
- ctlplane deployment with all supporting configs for all Openstack services including examples
- dataplane deployment both metal3 provisioned and preprovisioned with Ceph HCI and External Ceph including examples
- dataplane and controlplane customizations supported at GA for example:
- multiple compute roles for custom hardware flavors (GPU, SR-IOV, SmartNic-X, SmartNIC-y etc..)
- Deploymnet of BareMEtal Compute nodes via the Ironic Operator
- integration of dataplane nodes to the COP hosted telemetry service
- introduction of the meta operator bundle to the official openshift operator catalog
- TLS-E will be enbled by default
