Goal: Write a design document that attempts to investigate the OLM-2612 POC in more depth, and attempt to burn down any open questions we have right now.

Summary: As we continue to prototype the first phase of the platform operators work, we need to continue to burn down the list of open questions from last sprint's POC, and help shape the overall EP design for 4.12.

AC:

• Document the answers to the open questions in the "hive mind" document.
• Create a hackmd with the findings. Link to that hackmd in the "hive mind" document.
• Create any follow-up tickets based on those findings.
