Goal

Equinix is sun setting metal support by June 2026, we need to mIgrate metal SNO/TNA/TNF OCP jobs to other platform before then. 

Benefit Hypothesis:

With out this move we won't have metal jobs running and we'll loose that signal. Moving to other platforms allows us to continue running metal jobs and validate the product against that deployment type.

#forum-ofcir might be leveraged for ways to accomplish this. OFCIR can be used to manage cloud resources for provisioning metal hosts.

Responsibilities

The OCPEDGE team will primarily be responsible for updating the CI jobs for all three topologies to use the OFCIR provider

Success Criteria

This needs to be done by beginning of next year around April time frame to avoid disruptions by June 2026.
