Haven't observed this I'm convinced the code is buggy.
The scenario is similar to HAC-417, when you click [Create trial cluster] / [Create cluster] button and then inside wizard change your mind to different choice between OSDTrial / OSD / Marketplace.
The original button that launches the wizard sets the product prop which will override the in-cluster choice for most quota computations done inside the wizard.
So if your quota grants you different number of nodes, or different machine types, etc. for Trial vs OSD, you'll see wrong choices.

Affected screens: Cluster settings > Details + Machine pool

(The code for these screens is also used by ROSA wizard, hard to say if currently affected. This card is only about OSD wizard, I'll link this info in HAC-353 which tracks quota issues in ROSA wizard.)
