      Supported Scenarios:

      new oadp channel  oadp-stable

      1.4.x

      1.5.x

      customer can have manual or auto upgrade

      4.18 -> 4.19 ... oadp will upgrade to 1.5.x automatically

      manual 4.18 -> 4.19  ...  

       

      1. From a OCP 4.18 cluster.
        1. Using the stable-1.4 channel install OADP-1.4.x
        2. populate backups / restores
        3. Update channel to $new channel e.g. stable-oadp
        4. Upgrade to 1.5.0, upgrade works but DPA is NOT reconciled on OCP 4.18
        5. Upgrade OCP 4.18 -> OCP 4.19
        6. OADP DPA should reconcile and Velero is running working.
      2. The above should ALSO work on OCP 4.18 -> OCP 4.20
      • OADP 1.5.0 should NOT install on a OCP 4.18 cluster
