      Summary

Investigate the work necessary to align the way we spec authentication in each of the three CLF cloud outputs (cloudwatch, googleCloudLogging, azureMonitor).

      Acceptance Criteria

      • Summarize findings in a comment or document linked to this issue.
      • Link any other relevant resources or documents.
      • If needed, create an enhancement document to gain broader community input
      • Create follow-up JIRAs for further progress on the issue.
      • Get findings reviewed by a team lead or architect.

      Notes

      • Based on discussion coming from the original version of the enhancement doc, we are planning to leave the auth spec as-is for GCP WIF, and are analyzing a potential future change:  https://github.com/openshift/enhancements/pull/1762
      • Consider Azure API during investigation since it is not currently supported so we ensure it is consistent with the other cloud providers
