Summary
As a developer of logging,
I want to add distinct authentication types for GCP
so the authentication API is consistent with other cloud offerings
Acceptance Criteria
Verify logs are forwarded when the credentials file is configured to use an external account type (WIF)- Verify logs are forwarded when the credentials file is configured to use a service account type
- Verify a single collector is configurable to authenticate with multiple roles
- Verify the API include kube annotations to rejects invalid syntax
- Verify an upstream feature document exists which supports this feature
Notes
- WIF API support to be added as part of WIF implementation
Possible suggestions:
1. Static long lived credentials:
- type: "Credentials"
2. Short lived tokens: - type: "WorkloadIdentity"
