In order to get podVM working with the Confidential instance we'll need to embed the driver (& related userspace bits) installation in our current pipeline (for single or tagged image) or in a new pipeline.

• Image has to be RHEL 10 based (for 6.9 kernel) (may enforce us to use new pipeline)
• Driver has to be from version 570.172.08 or above

Fedora (bootc) reference

Driver installation options:
1. prebuilt drivers (not exit yet see KATA-4036 )
2. Official runfile (directly or building a kmod out of it)

To comply with the Knoflux hermitc build we may need get exceptions for accessing to:
1. Nvidia repos (Can we use the mirroring)
2. Nvidia website
