Goal:

• Now that WSL2 is part of Insights Image Builder in production stable, we should polish the experience.
• We should look into OOBE - especially in conjunction with cloud-init.
• We should look into shipping our Logo and using the .wsl extension
• We should check if all the customizations we expose work (e.g. filesystem, first boot) and hide those in the service (and API) that will never work

Acceptance Criteria:

• WSL2 images built in the service work with all the customizations that are shown for it
• We have a clear path forward for whether or when to switch to .wsl, add a logo etc.

Open questions:

• Should we keep the .tar format in the service or just switch to .wsl?
