      User story:

Because autoscaling isn't available for hypershift clusters, as a user, when I create my machine pools, I don't want an option for autoscaling.

      Acceptance criteria:

      • The option to autoscale shall not be available for hosted (hypershift) clusters.  The option for edit node count per zone shall be available (current functionality for non-autoscaled)
      • The “next” button will not go to the next action unless all required fields pass validation (current functionality)
      • Data entered will be shown on the review page (current functionality)

      Mockups:

      NOTE:

This story is just to hide the autoscale option for hypershift (aka ROSA hosted) clusters.  Other changes to the machine pool step are covered in additional stories.

      Implementation details

      Major tasks:

      • Hide or disable the autoscale option for hosted (hypershift) control planes.  The cluster shall be treated as if it were not autoscaled.

      Notes:

      • Design and microcopy haven't been finalized

      More research needed:

      • For hosted (hypershift) control planes, shall the "enable autoscaling" feature be hidden or disabled?
