= JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition available as a Technology Preview feature

You have the option to open a workspace from the dashboard using either the default Microsoft Visual Studio Code - Open Source, or JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition.

JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition is a Technology Preview feature only. Technology Preview features are not supported with Red{nbsp}Hat production service level agreements (SLAs) and might not be functionally complete. Red{nbsp}Hat does not recommend using them in production. These features provide early access to upcoming product features, enabling customers to test functionality and provide feedback during the development process.

#Requirement :

Technology Preview feature IntelliJ IDEA is currently not available to set from Dev Spaces dashboard.
While creating a workspace from the Dev Spaces dashboard the drop down menu only includes VSCode and Eclipse Theia IDE options.

Users can set IDE using different options (including IntelliJ IDEA) as described here in documentation
But this is not user friendly.

So users should have a option to create a workspaces with IntelliJ IDEA using dev spaces dashboard UI.
