To streamline the user experience, we are removing samples that have become outdated and are too much effort to maintain, so we can focus efforts on fewer samples that Just Work.

Note that PHP debugging may still be broken [TBC]

if so, let's just remove the php lang server stuff entirely as it's always been Tech Preview and Theia is now deprecated

if not, well, let's figure out what's missing to have a basic PHP dev env in vscode / che-code.
