      Goal

Provide support for subscription / Marketplace costs out of the box allowing a new layer to be added to Infrastructure / supplementary.

      Background

AWS has recently announced a feature that will allow AWS Marketplace vendors to provide  cost allocation tags.

      https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2020/11/aws-marketplace-enables-vendor-provided-cost-allocation-tags/

      https://docs.aws.amazon.com/marketplace/latest/userguide/metering-service.html

We should be able to review if additional development needs to be done to support this, and if we need to document it.

      Why is this important

Software costs can be a big part of the invoice for a customer when running workloads in the cloud. As AWS is providing support for third party software through a marketplace and Red Hat has several inititiates in the same direction (Subscription Watch and RH Marketplace), it would be beneficial to start reporting on this.
