Goal

Using the VNC console on many VMs in parallel increases the load on the control plane, because the VNC console is routed trough the control plane. In Hypershift, the management cluster runs the control planes of all hosted clusters, and this way the management cluster has to handle all the control plane traffic of the hosted clusters. This epic is about avoiding the VNC traffic being routed trough the control plane, especially the management cluster of hypershift.

User Stories

• As an Admin, I like to allow VM owners to debug the boot process of their VMs, even if the VM runs in an hosted cluster without increasing the load on my management cluster.

Non-Requirements

• Improve routing of the ssh traffic.
