Goal

Using the VNC console on many VMs in parallel increases the load on the control plane, because the VNC console is routed trough the control plane. In Hypershift, the management cluster runs the control planes of all hosted clusters, and this way the management cluster has to handle all the control plane traffic of the hosted clusters. This epic is about avoiding the VNC traffic being routed trough the control plane, especially the management cluster of hypershift.

• As an Admin, I like to be aware of the limitations of the VNC console, so that I can adjust before the API server is degrated.
