Description
IHAC, who has a requirement of deploying OpenShift Windows Containers 4.7 on VMware vSphere 6.7/7.0
The customer will be using NSX as an SDN layer in vSphere, and OVN-Kubernetes is the only supported option for OpenShift Win-C. This can have a scenario of double VXLAN encapsulation which can impact the OpenShift Performance.
Required
Validate all steps mentioned in this published blog: https://www.openshift.com/blog/windows-container-support-for-red-hat-openshift-on-vsphere
Validate if there is any impact on expected performance or throughput.
Nice to have
Validate Compute vMotion capability of vSphere as it is supported for RHCOS/RHEL worker nodes. Document if there is any limitation.
