The configuration options for OpenTelemetry are pretty limited at the moment, and users have requested additional support for configuring otel via the WF management model. All otel options are available via MP Telemetry/Config, but the requires enabling the MP Telemetry extension, which may be not desired, and the config is either per-app or via sub-optimal system property definitions. This Jira would expand the management model to include the more common otel config options (e.g., TLS key/cert options).
