We've done quite a lot of work on the ModuleSpecification class in the last couple years, and one time (WFCORE-6199) we broke it. We need to enhance the unit testing of this class to better guard against regressions. (WFCORE-6442 fixed the breakage, but it too didn't add tests to guard against the failure.)
