Epic Goal
- MicroShift support of RHEL 9 OS
Why is this important?
- Support Machine Vision use cases on ARM with MicroShift
- First Target Platform is NVIDIA Jetson Orin

Scenarios
- RHEL 9.2 may be the first release of RHEL supporting SR-IR platforms (the ARM platforms we are targeting with MicroShift).
- OCP 4.13 is planned to support RHEL 9.2 OS required by the customers
- MicroShift support of ARM and RHEL 9 are coupled
Acceptance Criteria
- Development environment must be set up to support RHEL 9
- CI must be running successfully on RHEL 9
- QE pipeline must be running successfully on RHEL 9
- ART pipelike must be set up on RHEL 9
- Release Technical Enablement for RHEL 9
Dependencies (internal and external)
- OpenShift to provide support of all the necessary RHEL 9.2 components / dependencies starting from 4.13
- OpenShift to start supporting crun in 4.13 release on RHEL 9 OS
