Epic Goal

• MicroShift basic support of CentOS 9 Stream

Why is this important?

• Support Machine Vision use cases on ARM with MicroShift
• First Target Platform is NVIDIA Jetson Orin
• See OCPBU-85 

Scenarios

1. Using CentOS 9 Stream as an alternative to RHEL 9 OS for development and runtime

Acceptance Criteria

• Development environment must be set up to support CentOS Stream 9
• CI must be running successfully on CentOS Stream 9
• QE pipeline must be running successfully on CentOS Stream 9

Dependencies (internal and external)

1. OpenShift to provide support of all the necessary RHEL 9.2 components / dependencies starting from 4.13

Open questions::

1. When will OCP 4.13 provide full set of dependencies for RHEL 9 OS?
2. Do we have all the necessary dependencies for using CentOS Stream 9
