As part of the linked epic, the Jaeger Operator needs to be instrumented in order to provide the required information. Metrics need to be added recording how many instances the operator is managing with the following characteristics:

• Which agent modes are being used (daemonset, sidecar)
• Which storages are being used (ES is the only supported one, but are people actually using others?)
