    Description

      3scale 2.12 documentation has 2 new sections that are not there in 2.11

      1. Deleting Product custom resources
      2. Deleting Backend custom resources

      that show how to delete the product and backends.

      Additionally in the 3scale 2.12 release notes: 2.12 Technology Preview Features , notes that:

      3scale operator application capabilities have been improved in 3scale 2.12 to allow declarative deletion of Tenant (Jira 6051), Product (Jira 6581) and Backend (Jira 6580) custom resources.

      The JIRAS listed refer to reconciliation . So the first two list items in the Limitations of 3scale operator capabilities which state that

      • Deletion of a backend custom resource definition (CRD) is not reconciled: existing backends in 3scale will not be deleted.
      • Deletion of a product CRD is not reconciled: existing products in 3scale will not be deleted.

      seem to be incorrect and should be removed.
