Ticket to investigate feasibility and work required for upgrading MySQL 5.7 to 8.x using the system's mysql internal database.

This investigation should include upgrades when using product images but also upgrades when using upstream images. Both cases have to be covered to be considered feasible.

As per Red Hat documentation

The caching_sha2_password is incompatible with RHEL 7. Myql server must to be launched with --default-authentication-plugin=mysql_native_password
