2022 Week 32-34 (from Aug 8)
Motivation
Any java and non-java developer should be able to try out serverless workflows in a 5 minute trial experience across developer tools. When describing what serverless workflows are in the docs, developers usually want to take a look at the code, examples and quickly run them to get the experience and evaluate whether they should invest in more and add the technology into their current projects.
Goal
Provide seamless workflows trial experience via a sandbox environment
Scenarios
As a developer, I need to open a demo workflow mentioned in the documentation so that I can look at the implementation details.
As a developer, I need to try constructs of serverless workflows in the editor so that I can validate that I learnt and understood it from the spec.
As a developer, I need to move my project to VS Code so that I can try running serverless workflow locally.
As a developer, I need to deploy my project to OpenShift Sandbox so that I can see how it scales in the container platform.
As a developer, I want to see what happened during the workflow execution so that I can evaluate whether workflows do exactly what I need.
Expected outcomes
Community Serverless workflow sandbox environment
Transition between Serverless workflow sandbox and VS Code
Transition between Serverless workflow sandbox and OpenShift sandbox
