customers have reported that while upgrading the product:
- the product needs to be put in something like a maintenance mode when no workloads can be scheduled on it (has to be coordinated across teams within the company) so that no critical workloads are running.
also,
- if users are subscribed to automatic approval then the product (operator) upgrades automatically which might result in unexpected downtime
