We need a dashboard which would provide a single view of all current statuses that we need to know for a release. This will include status for the following:
- nightly sync
- downstream build status
upstream build status- errata status
- next release status, date and deadline
- A new page for unofficial builds and nightlies
- Release dates from confluence
- Component matrix as well
- Jira issue list for relevant issues
- CVP, brew, IIB, builds links and build status
- figure out dependency graph to figure out that our skip range or replaces mechanism is working fine and if the customers can jump between channels as per that graph
- Status of brew, jenkins, gitlab, other components
- Operator bundle status, etc
- Runbook links, etc
- Release notes generated from Jira
Stretch goals
- Test duration, and how many times did we have to run the test, check test flakiness, etc
- Time comparison between our own builds vs brew, etc
and everything else that's related to the release.
