Epic Goal
- Stabilize CI conformance test results on OpenShift clusters on platform type External
- Address issues (to Jira) collected in 4.18 deployments described in https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ut5zXJGIUl-lYQ1A7AXYWk-J-Q7KxlqKmQ-8kNMxBs0/edit?tab=t.0
Why is this important?
- Decrease overhead on reviewing false-positive, permanent failures, or known bugs by
- Partners while self-validating their OpenShift cluster installed with platform type External
- Cert-Ops team while reviewing partner results in VCSP ticket
- OpenShift Engineering while providing support of CI jobs, Partners and Cert-Ops team
- Oracle Cloud integrations when tested with Assisted Installer workflows
Scenarios
- ...
Acceptance Criteria
- Known issues must be documented
- Individual recurring/permanent test failures must be addressed as a individual bug on OCPBUGS
- Failures that can be handled by SPLAT we can tentatively address the fixes as a collaborative to promote healthy state of clusters installed with platform External
- Proposed fixes must be closed
