One of the customers wanted the below feature about providing the report of success/failure of errata in a specific way via email:

To generate (the details in the errata report we receive) email on-the-fly and not wait until the specific day of week or month or not even daily, or perhaps customize the details contained within the report.

It has been communicated, as this feature cannot be considered for all the customer's or cannot be part of the main RFE (1264138). As, When the initial RFE was filed, it was meant to retrieve information from Satellite to find the success/failed erratum applied (it was assumed through katello-agent/katello-host-tools or REX only) between date ranges (Ideally have a standard range like daily, weekly or monthly or it can customizable if at all possible).

But, can provide macros so they can add such report template themselves. The reporting framework allows customers to put together custom reports easily, it's the same principle as with provisioning templates or job templates.
