Description of problem:

Disconnected Satellite does not have any option to integrate the old cdn metadata with the newly imported incremental updates metadata.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 6.2.12

The current procedure to import the incremental contents from a connected satellite to a disconnected Satellite is:

• delete the original import contents (from http://destination/pub/cdn-import/).
• copy the incremental export to the sync directory. (which contains only the new RPMs and new repodata)
• Sync your repos.

So, in short it involves blowing up old cdn metadata and does not provide any option to amalgamate old metadata and updateinfo from the existing cdn to the newly exported incremental updates.

Currently, customer attempts to make this possible by using "createrepo_c --update --keep-all-metadata" on all the old as well as the newly imported data in an attempt to recreate the metadata for the whole lot. But the --keep-all-metadata option results in it taking an order of magnitude longer to run and results in it only keeping the updateinfo from the most recent import
