If one views the satellite web interface and browses to:

Hosts menu --->
Host Collections --->

...one will see a list of actions that can be performed on all hosts in the collection. One of those actions is "Change assigned Lifecycle Environment or Content View".

This same action should be available via a "hammer host-collection" subcommand so customers can script (automate) such changes.
