Pulp task monitor required

3. What is the nature and description of the request?
When a task is running in pulp, we are not able to understand what is going.
We need to have a clear picture of the pulp tasks.

4. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
We need it to monitor the Satellite tasks, as it is unmanageable now due to unknown operation that are completing in background.
When we have one pulp task, we do not know the current status of the pulp task, only "waiting for pulp to complete" on tasks list.

5. How would the customer like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here)
We would like to have a pulp task monitor, better in the tasks gui, but also hammer command line is a good starting point.

6. For each functional requirement listed in question 5, specify how Red Hat
and the customer can test to confirm the requirement is successfully implemented.
1) run one task that involve pulp (ie repo sync)
2) check the new monitor and check for the status of the task

We expect to see

• status (running, waiting on task x, error, ...)
• percentage completed
• GB total and processed
• current speed
• estimated time for job to be completed
• any debug info useful in case of pulp problem (backtrace, ...)

8. Does the customer have any specific timeline dependencies?
As pulp is having a lot of problem, this is a priority on our side.
6.2.x would be good.
