Goal:
Enable Satellite users to download previously generated reports multiple times without regeneration. Currently, users can only download a report once during the initial generation session - navigating away and returning forces creation of a new report instead of providing access to the existing one. This Epic will implement report persistence and provide direct access links, allowing users to retrieve their previously generated reports on demand while avoiding unnecessary system resource usage and maintaining consistency of report data.
Acceptance Criteria:
• Report Storage: Generated reports persist beyond initial download session
• Multiple Downloads: Same report downloadable multiple times without regeneration
• Report History Interface: List previously generated reports with identification details
• Direct Download Links: One-click download access to stored reports
Open questions:
• Storage Policy: How long should generated reports be retained? What are the storage size limits and cleanup mechanisms?
• Report History UI: Where in the Reports interface should historical reports be displayed? How should reports be organized and filtered?
• User Scope: Should users only see their own generated reports, or is there a need for shared/team report access?
• Report Format Consistency: How should reports handle potential template changes between generation and download?
