Problem Statement

Get CV promotion information in pdf or csv format via cli/hammer/API endpoints.

Requirements

One of my customer need information of CV publish and promote in a report format like csv/pdf/html/excle. So that it can be checked and tracked easily.

For e.g. "when did CV version 150.0 get promoted to QA, STG, DEV, and PROD respectively?"

In the GUI, we are able to display the historical publication and promotion information; but this does not allow us to generate reports programmatically.

Business Impact

As this information is only available in the GUI and unavailable for export, customer are required to submit screenshots and manually create meaningful correlations of the data. This can take a number of hours or even days, and is unacceptably involved from the perspectives of both tech staff and auditors. The fact that this information appears in the GUI means that it is being stored in the activity database, and therefore can be extracted.

Customer would like an API endpoint and/or hammer command to retrieve all stored historical information on promotion and publication dates/times/environments.
