Problem Statement

The user would like to use the RHEL Malware service [1] [2] [3] [4] but due to regulatory reasons they are not allowed to use cloud hosted services. So they are not able to use the service from our Hybrid Cloud Console.

To be able to use this service they request to deliver it as a Lightspeed in Satellite service.

User Experience & Workflow

The user likes to use the Satellite WebUI to navigate to Red Hat Lightspeed -> Security -> Malware. There they like to find a view and functionality as in our Hybrid Cloud Console in RHEL -> Security -> Malware --> {Signature,Systems}.

Requirements

TL;DR: They like to use the Lightspeed Malware Service in Satellite as they are not able to send data to the hybrid cloud console.

Business Impact

• If the inclusion of this feature wouldn't be undertaken the customer would need to look for some solution outside of the Red Hat Portfolio.
