      Problem Statement

OCP-V and VMWare have a notion of a "template" which is a basic definition of a VM that will be used as the base for overrides that will be defined in the new VM UI.
We need to add an option to select such a VM template object during the VM creation process.

This can solve us the problem of proprietary fields support in Foreman VM definition UI.

      User Experience & Workflow

On the "Virtual Machine" tab of the host creation page we should be able to specify a template that is already defined in the compute resource. This template then will be used to create the new VM
