Manual
Description of problem:
In Satellite 6.17 and 6.18, the Compute Profile does not list the Guest OS option "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 (64-bit)" when provisioning VMs through compute resources (such as VMware, RHV/oVirt, or others).
This prevents users from selecting the correct OS type when provisioning RHEL 10 hosts.
How reproducible:
Always
Is this issue a regression from an earlier version?:
NA
Steps to Reproduce:
- Navigate to: Infrastructure → Compute Profiles
- Select an existing profile or create a new one
- Under the compute resource settings, expand the VM configuration options and view the Guest OS list
- Look for “Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 (64-bit)”
Actual behavior:
The Guest OS list does not include Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 (64-bit) on Satellite 6.17 or 6.18.
Expected behavior:
Satellite should display the Guest OS option “Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 (64-bit)” so that new RHEL 10 hosts can be provisioned using the correct virtualization settings.
