Problem:

In foreman 3.14 and earlier, BMC support with ipmitool works properly. After upgrading to Foreman 3.15, and onward, it stops working. BMC always shows as powered off.

This is caused by updating the rubygem rubygem-rubyipmi from 0.11.1 to 0.12.0. There is an issue filed on their project tracking this:https://github.com/logicminds/rubyipmi/issues/63

Expected Results:
BMC support through ipmitool works properly.

Actual Results:
BMC always shows as powered off.

There is a workaround in the github issue, downgrading the version of rubyipmi to 0.11.1 https://github.com/logicminds/rubyipmi/issues/63#issuecomment-3388345854
