At the moment, it's manual; for customers who have a permanent patching cycle, adding automatic publish/promotion might be very helpful. 

Requirements

Creating cronjob with hammer is possible for not ideal; if the satellite itself had its own option on the webgui as sync plans, it might be far easier. 

Business Impact

Decrease manual labor and save time.  Especially if the customer has capsule a fresh promotion will trigger a capsule sync can be done during nighttime.
