Problem Statement
When leapp upgrading RHEL Hosts from one version to the next, changing the compliance policy for the current version resulted in duplicated profile and cronjob on the Host.
This can be cleared by invoking the action "Unassign Compliance Policy" for that Host resulting to cleared scap profile and conjob on the Host.
User Experience & Workflow
"Unassign Compliance Policy" tool available in the WEBUI is not available in API or hammer. This causes a programmatic issue as the customer is running scripts to automate the tasks in the Satellite
Requirements
A programmatic approach to "Unassign Compliance Policy", either using API or hammer
to clear duplicate compliance profiles/reports of a Host. Currently, this is only available in WEBUI.
Business Impact
The customer run automation to correct settings on the Hosts.
Absence of API to "Unassign Compliance Policy" after a number of Hosts needs to be changed to a new compliance policy will opt the customer to do manual "ClickOps" using the GUI which is not ideal for their almost automated system.
