Goal:

Allowing users and admins to limit the combinations of usable bootloaders we reduce the chance of misconfiguration.

This is based on upstream RFC, the desire is to make the supported bootloaders configurable. Today the list is hardcoded and shows items that may not be supported in the provisioning environment, by the OS or not desired by the admin.

In SAT-38148 there was some initial investigation. Please refer to that for possible implementations.
